I just want to tell you that my family and I are going camping for a week starting today.

Have a great time with your family, Erik! Will you guys be fishing? My husband and I love fly-fishing, but we’ve done all kinds over the years…he even wrote a book many years ago that is considered the “bible” of refinishing bamboo fly rods, “The Fine Bamboo Fly Rod: A Master’s Secrets of Restoration and Repair.” We will all look forward to your return and reviews.
Thank you Ms. Kirkfield! We actually went fishing! I caught a rock bass and my sister caught a rock bass and a catfish! I don’t know how to fly fish, but when I learn how to, I will get your husband’s book!

Oooops! We forgot to take photos! Wait. I think we did. I’ll check. I know I caught a rockbass and a bunch of bluegills… They ranged from 4-7 inches… But we had a lot of fun!
