After banishing Samuel and his league of evil follows to the underworld, Audie and the Angel Army just wanted a break. But that isn’t what happens. In fact, it gets worse! Audie sees Dare Demons attacking her father and she knows that she must rescue him. With the Angel Army and Cave (a human friend), they go down to Earth and try to save him from the demons. Sadly, Audie’s dad gets bitten (and so does Cave) and they get infected with a virus. It is a plague that causes people to grow old rapidly. When the infected people can’t age anymore, they die, but then turn into zombies! And the only way to stop it is to have the Fountain of Youth rain on the Earth and make everyone young again (which is no small task).
This is the second book in this series. Check out my review of Audie the Angel & the Angel Army (book 1) HERE. I really enjoyed reading book 1 in this series and was happy when book 2 came out. I wasn’t disappointed! I think I enjoyed this story even more than the first. I like the plot idea in the book especially the idea of the Aging Plague. The story had me very interested all through the book. Like in book 1 of the series, Heaven is described beautifully and very well. The reader can really picture the setting. I like the many places described in heaven. I love the cliffhanger at the end of this book! One problem I did have with the second book is that there is really no introduction for people who haven’t read book 1 or may have read it a while ago and forgot somethings. In this book, like the first, Cave is a great character! I like his humor! Ms. Kathryn has written a great story that is appropriate for all ages!
