NEIN! Nicht die Teenagerzeit! πŸ˜‰ Vielen Dank Frau RoZo! Ich schΓ€tze es!

      • julie rowan zoch January 3, 2014 at 10:13 am #

Ha! Have you been studying your German? Fleissig! Hope you managed to get a snow day too!

      • thiskidreviewsbooks January 3, 2014 at 10:19 am #

Nope. I just used Google Translate. πŸ™‚ But I do have an English-German/German-English Pocket Dictionary! πŸ™‚ We don’t go back to school until Monday, but we have about 2-4 inches of snow. πŸ™‚

      • julie rowan zoch January 3, 2014 at 12:35 pm #

What languages are offered in your school? Should get up to 55F today, but only 23 and snow tomorrow – that’s Colorado!

      • thiskidreviewsbooks January 4, 2014 at 8:37 pm #

In 5th and 6th grade you can learn French, and I know that you can learn Spanish and French in the high-school/middle-school, but I don’t know about others. I take a French and a Latin course outside of school via K12 and I just got a Basic Russian language kit for Christmas. πŸ™‚ Today was warm – for winter. It was about 35F here. πŸ™‚ We have 2 inches of snow, yet Philly, where we used to live by, got much more. 😦

      • julie rowan zoch January 5, 2014 at 2:11 am #

We got a couple of inches toaday, should have seen me trying to pry the wash I’d left off the line!

      • thiskidreviewsbooks January 6, 2014 at 6:57 am #

Did you get a video? Then I COULD have see it! πŸ˜‰

Thanks Mrs. Isenhoff! I hope T&P make an appearance… I need to get writing then! πŸ™‚ Almost done TD2! I love it! πŸ˜€

Just kidding. I hope you had fun today. Have a wonderful holiday. And just think, Eve is a Capricorn too πŸ˜‰

    • thiskidreviewsbooks January 3, 2014 at 8:39 am #

Nope. No pattern. I just decide a random date a year to age and then I become the next year older! Like today, I’m 13! Just kidding. πŸ˜‰

  31. patientdreamer December 24, 2013 at 7:13 pm #

Happy, happy Day to you Erik!!!! Hope it was a good one.

  36. KidLitReviews December 25, 2013 at 1:09 am #

I am so sorry to see you go, Erik. Eleven-year-old-erik was a fun kid, but too quick to post most books. I concede. You Won! Now shoo, go away.

“Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year” all rolled into one! And another “Happy Birthday!” Birthdays are too special to wrap up in another holiday. So consider yourself wrapped up.. See ya’ next year.

    • thiskidreviewsbooks January 3, 2014 at 9:10 am #

Mmf mff phm mmfmffmph *struggles* *types with nose* That’s not nice. How could you do this. I knew it! You’ve taken over my blog! But, hey, at least I won! Head’s up for 2014!!! πŸ˜†

      • KidLitReviews January 3, 2014 at 11:43 am #

I have taken over your blog? Why I would not do that twelve-year-old Erik. Why are you typing with your nose? That is a good way to get your keyboard snotty and there is nothing harder to use than a snotty keyboard. 😯

Per your request, I have posted a picture of the real kitties from the Christmas Eve post. I notice you have not checked it out, yet it is for you. It is the Christmas post, but maybe you got a cool new Lego set, or a stop-motion camera, or maybe a top-of-the-line keyboard cleaner and are busy playing with your new toys. I understand. 😐

One more thing. You have 110 comments, no, make that 111 comments for this post. That makes you a popular blogger. Was it necessary to pad the number? You wrote 55 comments, soon to be 56? Now, in all fairness . . . STOP IT! πŸ˜€

        Happy New Year!

      • thiskidreviewsbooks January 4, 2014 at 8:29 pm #

I don’t see any real kitties on the Christmas Eve post… πŸ‘Ώ And you wrote (and I quote) “So consider yourself wrapped up.” So… You took over my blog while I was tied up… but fortunately I read a Harry Houdini book and I know how to get out of it! πŸ˜‰

I read the heading soon after you posted it and only for a couple of seconds, not any time at all really, you had me aghast, but then I remembered your birthday. πŸ™‚
Sending you love and hugs for a great, fantastic, spectacular, productive, ‘authorly’, beautiful word-filled new year.

    • thiskidreviewsbooks January 6, 2014 at 6:56 am #

  55. Myra GB January 9, 2014 at 7:29 pm #

December babies are the best! My own daughter turned 12 three days before you did (21st). She had a few friends come over to play Kinect (Just Dance 2014) and they all watched Pitch Perfect together. Low-key but so much fun. Two of her friends slept over as well. My husband and I were exhausted at day’s end with the energy level of middle-schoolers. Whew! I’m sure you and your friends are the same with the inexhaustible energy! I’m sure you’ve had a fabulous birthday, Erik. Happy Happy Happy Birthday! I sent a greeting through your Facebook Page, I hope you got that one too. πŸ™‚
