Today I have a special guest book reviewer – my little sister Josie! 😀
Josie is 10 years old and has her own blog called Animals and Art. You can clock HERE to go THERE.
Josie is here to tell us what she thought about a new book called Minnie in Paris! What is even better, Disney Press is offering a book prize pack for us to give away to one lucky reader! Check out the details at the end of the post!

ABOUT THE BOOK (from the publisher)
Fashion is Minnie’s passion! And, as a result, she’s been invited to show her bows on the runways of Paris!

At the airport, Minnie is so busy taking care of her nieces, Millie and Melody, that she accidentally switches suitcases with Penguini the magician–and finds that his suitcase is full of bunnies instead of bows! Minnie must round up the mischievous little bunnies, find Penguini, and make her bows in time for the show. Will she make it?
Readers are treated to a stunning tour of famous Parisian locations, from the Louvre to Tuilleries Gardens to the Eiffel tower, to a classic Parisian bistro—all in search of Penguini’s bunnies.
This charming hardcover picture book comes with a code to access the Minnie in Paris eBook.
WHAT JOSIE THOUGHT – I really liked the pictures. They are colorful. There were a couple of words I couldn’t read but my dad helped. I liked it when he read it out loud and then I got the ebook and it could read it to me too. The voice was nice on the ebook and it played music. I liked the bunnies and Penguini. I think little kids will learn how to count to ten with the book because Minnie has to find the bunnies and it counts up to ten. I got to learn some places in Paris like Notre Dame, and the Louvre. I thought the story was great and I love Minnie Mouse. 🙂
I want to give this book 5 bookworms.
Thank you Josie for a great review! Now onto the giveaway!

Well, I don’t happen to be a big Disney fan, but I know some Princesses who would love these just like Josie did! She did an excellent review! So please toss me in that hat! Thanks!
I bet all princesses will love these books! Thanks Rhythm you are in! 🙂
I loved your book review Josie. I can tell you were very enthusiastic about the Minnie adventures in Paris and all the sites you learned about. I always had a soft spot for Minnie. Yes, include me in the drawing as I know two little girls who would enjoy this pack a lot!
You ar in for the drawing Mrs. Tilton. Josie says “thank you” too. 🙂
Great review, J. I wish Minnie would make me a bow to wear. I also wish my furs were long enough to put a bow on….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
You would look very pretty in a bow Cupcake! 🙂
I would like to be in the drawing. Thank you!
You are in! 🙂
My daughter would love these books!! Thanks for the chance!!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! You are in the drawing! 🙂
I love Paris! What a fun way to show kids around Paris and funny mix up too. Cool that the ebook has a recording of the story. I wonder how easy that is to do.
In the ebook each word is highlighted as it is read too. It’s a pretty cool thing to help kids learn to read. I don’t know how they do that – it’d be cool to find out. 🙂
I wonder if it is an app rather than a book. Troop is a group of monkeys is apparently interactive and that’s definitely an app.
I really don’t get what the difference is between an ebook and an app. The code we got to get the ebook called it an ebook, I think I’ll have to google what the difference is…
Well my ebooks are just books on a screen but with apps the characters move and I guess talk too.
That makes sense 🙂
Great review, Josie! Looks like a really fun book. I admit I love anything Disney! Please include me in the drawing.
You are in for the drawing! 🙂
A fine review, Josie! Well done.
And I’m glad to see a Disney book about fashion include a glimpse of Edna from The Incredibles.
Isn’t that AWESOME?!? Josie didn’t notice it at first then I pointed her out and said “Hey that’s Enda Mode!” Then she started yelling “NO CAPES!” 😀
I’ve watched The Incredibles about a jillion times, and Edna never fails to make me laugh. I hear that Brad Bird (the director) is finally considering a sequel.
This makes me giddy.
That is AWESOME!!! I hope they do (and they don’t mess it up!)!
If Brad Bird does it, they won’t. They guy doesn’t know how to make a stinker.
That’s good. But I guess that means he must hold back a lot of gas. *ba-bum TISH* Sorry. I couldn’t help it. 😉
Nice review, Josie. You don’t have to enter me in the drawing, although it sounds like a great prize package 🙂
It is a really nice bunch of books offered by Disney Press. Thank you for your comment! 🙂
