With the help of her mom, Cave, and the rest of the Angel Army, they begin to venture into the Afterworld…
What I Thought- This is a thrilling conclusion to the Angel Archives series. There is a good amount of recap from the previous books that doesn’t give away a lot of the major surprise from earlier books. I really enjoy when an author has the writing skills to bring the reader up-to-speed from previous novels in a series but still not give away too much in case you want to go back and read the books. This book has a lot of fun things going on, while also a lot of serious things. I like how, even though the story mentions Heaven and the Afterworld, it doesn’t really mention any sort of god or devil – treating the concepts respectfully. The characters are rather fully developed by this time, and it is interesting to see how they interact. M. Kathryn’s writing style is very well-formed and keeps you reading. There were a lot of plot twists that I did not see coming. Overall a very enjoyable read, appropriate for all ages, and a great example of a well-done self-published book.
I give this book five out of five bookworms!
