Laurenne Sala’s heartwarming text, accompanied by New York Times bestselling artist Robin Preiss Glasser’s charming illustrations, creates a firsthand look at the powerful bond between mother and child from pregnancy to birth and beyond.”
What I Thought- This is a really sweet book, with love pouring throughout the pages, and into the reader as well. The illustrations are rather realistic, but with a very nice feeling to them. The writing reflects ho a mom would actually speak to her child and flows very nicely. I could see mom’s reading this book over and over again to her children. The pictures are full of emotion, and they showcase how a mother loves her child. This is a gorgeous book that parents will love to read to their kids – and that their kids would love to be read to!
