Hi there blogosphere!

I would like to tell you about my latest Scholastic News Kids Press Corps article.

It is about conversations I had with four middle-grade authors at the Lititz Kid Lit Festival in Lititz PA.

Here’s the blurb – “Four authors talk about the joys and challenges of writing for middle-graders.”

Find out what Isaiah Campbell,

Excellent article, Erik! I love how the authors address that kids shouldn’t be completely shielded from the more difficult realities of life. Great stuff 🙂

Good interviews and reporting. And as a MG author myself, I completely agree that MG is challenging to present “real world” issues in an appropriate light. I try to show things realistically, but in a way MGers will be able to learn from. Great stuff, Erik!
