Hey Look, I Wrote A Book! 😀
“The Adventures of Tomato and Pea: A Bad Idea” is a fun-filled 9,300-word chapter book meant for kids 7-13. It is the first book in a series.
Book Description:
“For years the evil villain Wintergreen had tried to destroy super crime-stopper, Tomato and his sidekick, Pea, and take over planet Oarg. In a plan gone wrong, Wintergreen traps himself along with his arch-nemesis in a runaway rocket ship that crashes on a strange planet called “EAR-TH”. Now these perennial enemies must learn to work together to survive the dangers on this strange world. Hungry birds, enormous snakes and the giant inhabitants of EAR-TH stand between this brawling bunch of aliens and finding a way home.”

Hey Erik,
I’m eleven, just like you, and my mom bought your book for me and I have really enjoyed it! I was wondering how you published your story, because I wrote an adventure story of my own, and I’ve been wondering how to publish mine so people can buy and read it.
Hi Sam! I am glad you like my book! I published it at Createspace.com – it was easy and not very expensive! 🙂 Good luck with your book! Let me know when you publish it! 😀
Okay. I will try to publish segment one of my story which is already finished (after I edit it). Thanks!
Good luck! Let me know when you publish it! 😀
You are an inspiration to all writers with your creativity, Erik. Thank you!
Thank you Schmelzb! 😀

Hi Erik, I tried to do some things to not make my paragraphs too big, but it didn’t work. I will make another chunk so you can continue.
Thanks, Wilhelm! 🙂
🙂
😐
I’ll have to check it out. It looks real good. I am a great reader, and I read A LOT!
Thank you Wilhelm! 🙂
I replied to someone.
🙂
Have you started working on your second book yet?
Yes, but I’m not done yet. Sorry. 🙂
When do you think it will be? I enjoyed your first one 🙂
I can’t say for sure. I am writing it, but will then need to make edits and whatnot.
You actually published something!? Whaat!? That’s so cool!
Thank you! 🙂
Hi, Erik; I’m actually publishing through CreateSpace too, really soon. As a young aspiring writer, I’m really looking forward to putting my work out there. Unfortunately can’t email you, but do you have any tips? You can reach me at my blog at theoccultofi.wordpress.com; I really love what you have done with your blog, and how you have been able to put yourself out there as an avid reader and writer. Thanks!
~Aqsa
I would just say do what you love (Which I think you are doing! 🙂 ), and when you are ready, have as many people proofread as possible – it will make it a whole lot easier! 🙂
I’ll make sure to keep that in mind 🙂 Publishing gets me nervous, lol, but I’m sure I’ll get there soon. Thank you so much, again Erik! 😀 🙂
It’s just a little embarrassing to have typos in books. 🙂
Lol, I know! I remember last year, I published my very first short story, and when I received a copy the “book” in hand, I was so awkward about sharing it; I was horrible at editting back then, so had a number of misspelled words, commas, etc :D. I laugh looking back at it now 🙂
It’s always good that you can laugh at it in hindsight – it’s better than cringing! 😉
Haha, yeah, that’s true. I don’t think it was a laughing matter back then, though, it was totally cringe worthy 😉 😀 But obviously, as writers and people, we learn to move on 🙂
And I’m sure that there is a life lesson somewhere in there! 😉
sound very intresting
